Our investment strategy focuses on the opportunities presented by Power Centres—large aggregations of retail stores anchored by big-box store commercial retail tenants—in secondary markets across North America.

In the last 10 years, Power Centres have pulled consumers away from Main Street locations, many of which have less convenient access and parking.

This shift has created a new market for professionals such as doctors, lawyers, accountants, and municipal and government service providers. There is currently a shortage in secondary markets in North America of high-end office space, as well as combined showroom, administration, and warehouse space for owner-operators in various trades.

Woodfine will develop properties to fill these gaps. The foot traffic resulting from Power Centres, coupled with sufficient parking space, will attract tenants, clients, and customers to the properties.
